PART 2: He Defeated the Shadow Lord, Destroyed the Bell of Ruin, and Saved the Three Kingdoms From Total Destruction… But the Heartbreaking Price He Paid Left the Hidden Fox Princess Crying Over the Body of the Only Man She Ever Truly Trusted

The Fall of the God of War

War arrived before the kingdoms were ready.

At dawn, the northern sky split open like a wound. Thousands of Shadow Legion soldiers poured through the darkness, their black armor swallowing the morning light. Behind them marched monstrous creatures born from smoke, carrying banners marked with the silver serpent of Malakar Voss.

Master Lucian Vale led the united armies from the front.

Elara fought beside her senior brothers, still disguised as Eli Rowan. The playful disciple who once slept through morning lessons had vanished. In his place stood a fearless warrior whose sword burned with pale blue fire.

For seven days, the battlefield shook beneath endless waves of soldiers.

Each time the Celestial Army pushed the enemy back, Malakar summoned more creatures from the Abyss. Rivers turned red. Mountains collapsed. The cries of the wounded echoed across the ruined plains.

On the eighth night, Malakar finally appeared.

He stood above the battlefield in a storm of black flames, holding the ancient Bell of Ruin—a weapon powerful enough to destroy every kingdom. Long ago, the bell had been sealed because no immortal could control its terrible power.

Now it was awakening.

“If the bell rings,” Lucian warned, “everything within the Three Kingdoms will be consumed.”

The generals searched desperately for another solution, but Lucian already knew what had to be done.

He ordered his disciples to retreat.

Elara refused.

“We came here together,” she said, gripping his sleeve. “I will not leave you behind.”

Lucian looked at her with the same calm expression he had worn during every lesson on Mount Elarion.

“You were never meant to die here, Elara.”

Her breath stopped.

He had known.

He had always known.

Before she could speak, Lucian placed two fingers against her forehead and released a burst of golden light. Elara was thrown far from the battlefield, landing among her brothers as a radiant barrier rose between them and their master.

Alone, Lucian walked toward Malakar.

The two immortals collided beneath the darkened sky. Light and shadow tore through the clouds until Lucian finally drove his sword through the center of the Bell of Ruin.

The bell shattered with a sound that silenced the world.

Malakar was dragged back into the Abyss, sealed beneath the earth once more.

But victory demanded its price.

When the golden light faded, Lucian lay motionless among the ashes.

Elara ran to him and fell to her knees.

His body remained warm, but his spirit was gone.

Holding her master against her chest, the nine-tailed princess cried until the heavens themselves began to rain.
