Mila, Poppy, and Hal Hager made Jenna Bush Hager’s 44th birthday extra special in November 2025 by throwing her a dinner, complete with a “Mom’s Bday Tasting Menu.” It was perfectly themed to all things Bush Hager too, with meals named Jenna and Fries, Books and Burrata Salad, and The Cat Nap Crunch — puns on her ventures, like “Today with Jenna & Friends.”

Earlier that year, Bush Hager told First for Women why she loves summer: It’s the perfect time to make memories like this with her kids. “It’s so nice to spend this calmer, quality time with family — the season is all about being together,” she said (via NBC). That she did!
