Katie Price told her daughter Princess that she has been influenced by her father Peter Andre‘s ‘image conscious’ ways and said she’s not a rebel like her.
The former glamour model, 48, who has started appearing on Princess’ ITV show after previously being banned from filming, discussed her lackadaisical attitude to parenting compared to Princess’ dad.
Princess, 19, chatted to her mum about how Peter would stop her wearing certain outfits when she was younger and encouraged her clean cut image.
The blossoming TV star said that she thinks she would have turned out very differently if she had lived with her mum more when she was younger.
During a scene in episode two, Katie tells Princess she wouldn’t wear any of the racy outfits she wore in her early career when she was known by the persona Jordan.

Princess admitted: ‘Yeah I want to be.’, Katie told her: ‘I didn’t try and be any image, I was just me.’
Princess then explained: ‘You know why I think I’m a bit more vain, because I’ve grown up and always had to be conscious of doing the right thing.’
While Katie questioned: ‘Where did that come from? Because I’ve always let you be what you want to be.’
Princess told her it was from her ‘dad’s side’, and Katie said: ‘Your dad is the same as you, he’s quite conscious.’
Princess admitted: ‘Yeah he always taught me to be like that.’
Katie then made an insulting comparison, playfully referring to her daughter as a ‘polished turd’, saying: You’re more like a polished turd, and I wasn’t a polished turd.
‘I’m like a rebel, you’re not a rebel. That’s defines it, you’re very careful what road you take and I’m very like, yeah lets just do it!’
Princess concluded: ‘I think if I’d lived with you full time I’d be like that.’

Later in the episode, Princess and her brother Junior are at her dad’s house having a BBQ when the stark differences between their parenting styles are revealed
Katie added: ‘I think that’s good, you’ve got Emily and your dad who are clean, and you’ve got me which is like a good chaos. But I’m so proud of you and what you’re doing.’

Peter said: ‘I was strict with you guys even when you were 14 and wanted Instagram. I was really funny about that and back then it wasn’t even that bad.’
Princess then revealed that when Peter banned them from having phones in their bedrooms, she had a secret phone that she used.
Princess said: ‘I used to take the one mum got me and dad it into dad, then I had another one. Did you not know that?’
She then told horrified Peter: ‘I used to do the same in school!’
‘I understand that my dad didn’t want us to have phones upstairs until we were 14, but I think that’s just part of growing up, testing the limits.’
She then asked: ‘If I got a boyfriend, would he have to sleep in Junior’s room?’
‘You’re gonna hate me, he’d still have to stay downstairs or you’d have to stay downstairs… sorry, I know you’re 18.’
