THIS Morning fans are convinced Love Island winner Lorenzo still has feelings for fellow co-star Jasmine.

The three finalists appeared on the ITV show on Monday to discuss how they’re adjusting to life outside of the villa.

 

But things took a very awkward turn when Lorenzo and Julia clashed over his lack of effort since the show ended.

And now viewers have said that there were two major clues that signal that Lorenzo is still not over Jasmine, despite her looking loved-up with Kavan just inches away from him on today’s show.

Joining Josie Gibson and Paddy McGuinness in the studio, Lorenzo and Julia were quizzed over their future plans.

But an unhappy Julia grilled Lorenzo for not planning any dates and barely seeing her since winning the show together.

 

However, eagle-eyed viewers insisted that Lorenzo was too busy glancing over at Jasmine during the segment,

This fan shared a clip of Lorenzo describing his dream woman, while looking in Jasmine’s direction.

They captioned it: “Lorenzo looking at Jasmine when he said this, omg even Julia clocked. He actually might be in love with Jasmine.”

A second commented: “Seems like he was looking around for help The man wanted someone to chip in and save him from the awkwardness so bad.”

A third said: “You can’t fake that kind of eye contact. Something is definitely there.”

“That eye contact definitely got people talking,” this viewer shared.

This person added: “This is actually insane! Lorenzo is not human to glance at Jasmine twice is crazy.”

Meanwhile, other fans were quick to point out that Lorenzo and Julia appeared to have no chemistry while during the interview.

While the other two couples sat close to each other and held hands, this year’s winners were struggling to show any sign of connection.

One wrote: “There’s no connection. Look at the others holding hands being affectionate. Julia’s got her hands clasped in her lap.”

A second said: “Lorenzo’s hand placement vs the others.”

Another posted: “The body language in this pic.”

This Morning viewers branded Lorenzo and Julia’s interview the “most awkward ever” as they admitted they’ve yet to have a date in the UK.

Co-host Josie said to Lorenzo: “It has all worked out – and I’ve got to say, there’s a lot of rumours that you’re not together.

“Are you together – and what is this terminology?”

Lorenzo replied: “As we’ve left the villa, we’re still in the same place, exclusively dating…”

To which Julia cut in: “Yes, we are still dating.”

Lorenzo said it’s been a “crazy few days” since the final and that he believes “everything needs to settle down”.

He elaborated: “Then we’re going to go on some lovely dates….”

Josie asked whether the couple had said the “L-word” yet, to which they replied they had not, but “it’s going that way”.

Lorenzo said: “Feelings are developing, it’s in the right position… so I feel like give it some time…”

When asked if she felt the same way, Julia replied: “Where’s the date?”

After some banter about when they last saw each other, Lorenzo said he planned to take Julia to a rooftop bar for their first date.

She responded: “When?” and later on, “When’s my date?”

Lorenzo said the date has “a lot of planning involved” and towards the end of the segment, and joked they could have a £50,000 date using the prize money.

But fans have come to the conclusion that their relationship is simply a “showmance”.

This person said: “He basically used her to get to the final with ZERO consideration for the fact he was playing with Julia feelings to achieve it.”

Another added: “I’ve never seen a winning couple look the most unconvincing among the finalists and so unconvincing about their own connection or win.”
