32 People Went Out on That One! 32 Contestants Were Wiped Out By ONE Question On The 1% Club — And Lee Mack Could Barely Believe How Many Players Fell Into The Same Trap

THE 1% Club presenter Lee Mack was left shocked during Saturday’s episode as a single question eliminated more than 30 players.

Hosted by comedian Lee, 55, the quiz pits 100 people in the studio through their paces with increasingly tough questions.

The aim is to find the 1% who have the brains to decipher the trickiest question at the end and potentially win up to £100,000.

In Saturday’s episode of the ITV quiz, a large number of contestants were left similarly stumped on one question in particular.

The conundrum, which was the ‘40% question’, was as follows: “Which of these is impossible to do? A) Marry your cousin’s cousin, B) Marry your brother’s widow and C) Marry your widow’s sister.”

After the time was up, Lee was stunned to discover a whopping 32 people had failed to find the correct answer and were therefore eliminated from the game.

The Not Going Out star remarked: “Wow, that is massive! 32 people went out on that one!”

He added: “The answer was C. You would not be able to marry your widow’s sister, as you would already be dead.”

Viewers took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their reactions to the surprising moment, with one writing: “32 out on that question. Must be a record #the1percentclub.”

Another added: “WTAF?? 32 out! #The1PercentClub.”

Meanwhile, a third chimed in: “How did 32 people get that wrong! #The1PercentClub.”

Earlier this year, it was revealed the popular ITV game show had been renewed for new two more series.

Speaking at the time, Lee said: “Let’s be honest, the fact that I haven’t accidentally given a hundred grand to the wrong person or read out the answer instead of the question is as much a surprise to me as it is to everyone else.

“I’m really delighted that ITV is risking me steering this ship once again.

“I can’t wait to discover more of the nation’s brainboxes.”

An insider added: “The show has well and truly proved its popularity with viewers, and so it’s only natural to bring it back for not one, but two more rounds.

“This will also include two Christmas specials, which will air on ITV after the main series have run.”

The recommissioning will bring the show up to its fourth and fifth series.

For longtime fans, this isn’t simply another Randy Travis song. It’s a piece of the man he was before everything changed, preserved in time and somehow finding its way back to the people who never stopped loving his music.

Your smallest, biggest fan… 6 years old, waiting on a heart transplant. Blake Shelton read those words from the stage—and suddenly an entire Oklahoma arena understood just how much one song could mean. Six-year-old Wyatt McKee, who had already endured two open-heart surgeries, came to Blake’s Durant concert carrying one dream: to sing “God’s Country” with his hero. Blake spotted his sign, invited him onto the stage, and moments later the little boy was singing beside one of country music’s biggest stars while the crowd cheered him on. When Wyatt finally returned to his seat, Blake introduced him simply as “my friend Wyatt.” His mother was in tears, and Blake later admitted that the brave little fan hadn’t just enjoyed the night—“This little buddy made my night.”
