Princess Andre says she was “really living up to my name” at the NTAs as Katie Price is left out of her latest Instagram snaps

Princess Andre embraced the fairytale feel of the National Television Awards as she stepped onto the red carpet in a sparkling blue ballgown, later joking that she was “really living up to my name.”

The 19-year-old TV star shared a series of photographs and a transformation video from Tuesday night’s ceremony at London’s O2 Arena, documenting her change from casual clothes into her dramatic red-carpet look.

She also posted a photograph with her older brother, Junior Andre, 21, who joined her at the event as they promoted the upcoming series of The Princess Diaries on ITVX.

But one person was notably absent from Princess’s collection of NTA photographs: her mother, Katie Price.

Princess makes a glamorous entrance

Princess looked every inch the part in a light-blue ballgown, complete with a sparkling, detailed bodice and layers of ruffled fabric.

She appeared on the red carpet alongside Junior, with the siblings scheduled to speak to the press individually while promoting their reality series.

After the ceremony, Princess shared a video showing her transformation from comfortable casual clothing into the elaborate gown.

Alongside it, she wrote: “Really was living up to my name at the NTAs last night.”

Later, she posted a polished professional photograph of herself and another image featuring Junior.

Katie, however, did not appear in the photographs Princess chose to share.

The omission came after claims that Katie unexpectedly joined her children on the red carpet and disrupted what had been planned as Princess’s own moment.

Katie, 48, turned up unexpectedly at the NTAs, making the event her first public appearance since her reported split from Lee Andrews.

According to the original report, Katie attended as a guest in the box of a tabloid newspaper rather than as a guest of a television network.

Princess and Junior had not been expected to attend the awards with their mother. They had arrived together to promote The Princess Diaries and had an organised red-carpet appearance.

A source close to Princess claimed that the siblings “had no choice” when Katie joined them on the carpet.

The source alleged that Katie walked directly over to the pair and “hijacked her big moment.”

An onlooker also described the sequence of events, saying Katie arrived at the O2 after Princess and Junior had already begun their press duties.

The siblings had an escort on the carpet and had spent considerable time speaking to members of the press individually.

According to the onlooker, they had not travelled far along the carpet when Katie arrived wearing heavy makeup. The onlooker claimed she bypassed the press area, went straight to her children and pulled them into a photograph.

The resulting images showed Princess in her pale-blue gown beside Katie, who had opted for a very different look.

A striking contrast between mother and daughter

Katie wore a long-sleeved white shirt with lace mini shorts and black tights, finishing the outfit with black heels.

She styled her hair in a slicked-back wet look and completed the appearance with large diamond Valentino earrings.

Her makeup was equally dramatic, featuring bold black eyeliner and heavily lined lips finished with brown gloss.

The appearance came after Katie revealed earlier that day that she had been left with a black eye following face filler and new breast implants, procedures she had undergone only hours before the awards.

Despite the swelling and bruising, she was determined to attend the ceremony.

The NTAs marked a particularly public return for Katie following reports that she had ended her relationship with Lee Andrews. Katie had previously claimed that she married Andrews in January, although questions have since surrounded the relationship.

Princess and Junior are Katie’s children from her marriage to singer and reality star Peter Andre.
