A TALENTED young musician from Wrexham rocked the judges and audience alike on Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday (March 8).

Olly Pearson, 11, earned a golden buzzer for his electric guitar performance.

He told the judges he was nervous, adding that he started playing the guitar aged just seven and was learning with his grandad.

“My dream for the future is to become the best guitarist in the world,” he told judge Simon Cowell.
When he finished the audience gave him a standing ovation and his grandfather walked onto the stage to give him a hug.
After the show, Olly said: “I feel like I’m on top of the world.
“I didn’t really expect it. So I was just like amazed. They started saying ‘press the gold’ and I was like it would be cool if they actually do. And it happened. It just felt absolutely amazing.
“I feel like I’ve just achieved the biggest dream in my life.”
Amanda Holden said: “He blew it out of the water. He said he wants to be the world’s best – I think he’s well on his way.”
The young rocker has gathered thousands of followers on social media with his performances covering his favourite guitar heroes.
After first being given a guitar for his birthday at the age of seven, Olly began performing in nearby Chester at the age of just eight.
