Following his success in his home country of Australia, Keith Urban made his debut in the U.S. country charts in 1999 with his self-titled album. After 25 years, the New Zealand-born artist has won four Grammys, 13 CMAs, and 15 ACM Awards. In September 2024, Urban, who is still going strong at the age of 57, released his 12th studio album, High. On Tuesday, December 31, the vocalist of “Messed Up As Me” helped country music fans around the world bid 2024 farewell to 2025.

Keith Urban and Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith co-hosted New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. But in addition to hosting, the Golden Globe contender co-starred with Kane Brown and Jelly Roll as the event’s main attraction.

Urban opened the festivities with a faultless rendition of his song “Straight Line” at Nashville’s Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. Supporters flocked to social media to praise Urban’s appearance as well as his performance. One fan said, “Damn Keith Urban does not age.” “Watching the Big Bash in Nashville on New Year’s Eve. “Go, Keith Urban,” said another viewer.
The “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer is accompanied by some pretty dazzling company on the last night of 2024. Jelly Roll and Kane Brown join Urban as headliners, and rising stars Shaboozey and Brittney Spencer are also performing. Other acts included Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Post Malone, Parker McCollum and Tyler Hubbard.
