Lainey Wilson acknowledged that she might have to pop the question herself since she is sick of “waiting” for boyfriend Devlin “Duck” Hodges to pop the question.

In a CMT interview on Tuesday, the 32-year-old Yellowstone star talked with Jelly Roll’s wife Bunnie Xo about her 2025 goals and manifestations to marry her fiancé of almost four years.

Brother, don’t put any pressure on yourself! “No pressure,” she murmured, her face irritated. I may have to ask him to marry me. We’re waiting!

“No, Duck will do it,” Bunnie said. “I could sense it,” Lainey replied with a smile. “I enjoy that.”

Bunnie wrote in the comments: “I’m calling right now!” Duck and Lainey. Additionally, the Watermelon Moonshine singer included a confident woman tipping her hand emoji.

It was at a Nashville tavern in 2021 when a mutual friend introduced the country singer to her 28-year-old boy toy.

The lovebirds made their red carpet debut at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards where she was named Female Artist of the Year and won Album of the Year with her record Bell Bottom Country.

But this is not the first time Lainey has felt as though she had to take matters into her own hands.

When asked about marriage plans in September 2024, she said: ‘I guess I’m going to propose cause his a** ain’t proposed to me.’

Justifying their timeline, she claimed they were still enjoying non-marital bliss and that they weren’t quite ready to tie the knot.

She declared: ‘I think it needs to be during a season of our life where we really have the time to enjoy it. Right now it would be like, “Oh shoot, I’m engaged, all right on to the next thing,” and I just want to like be able to really soak it in.’

Back in 2023, the vocalist opened up to People Magazine about her ‘lovable’ man and how she does not ‘have to convince anybody to like him.’

She said: ‘I said, “We gonna see if you’re in it for the right reasons.” Turns out, he is.

‘Somebody said how funny it was watching him high-five all of my artist friends at the ACMs, and I said, “Those are his friends!” He’ll FaceTime me, and he’ll be with HARDY and Morgan [Wallen] and Luke [Combs], and I’m like, “Stop stealing all my buddies.”

The blonde vixen also confessed that the former NFL player turned real estate agent is her muse when it comes to producing heartfelt, romantic music. She also claimed he is ‘one of my biggest cheerleaders and champions.’

‘Duck is the kind of dude who high-fives me on the way in the door and on the way out and says, “Go get it,”‘ she expressed.

‘He knows how important this dream is to me. I was never really able to write love songs, because I don’t know if I had actually felt it, but I’m writing me some love songs now. I’m grateful for him,’ the Hillbilly Hippie singer added.

Later on Tuesday, Lainey hit the stage for New Year’s Eve LIVE: Nashville’s Big Bash and preformed some of her greatest hits ahead of the countdown to midnight.

She also revealed to her fans that the highlight of her year was being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry back in July.

‘I feel like I’m right where I’m supposed to be,’ she shared. ‘Just so many things to celebrate. So if 2025 is anything like 2024, it’s gonna be another hell of a ride.’
