Only spending a few years in country music, Ella Langley is quickly making a name for herself as she worked with Riley Green on the hit song “You Look Like You Love Me.” That song landed the singer her first No. 1 hit. But again, not wanting to stop with just one hit song, she released her debut country album, Hungover, just last August. And back in February 2023, Langley took the stage at the Grand Ole Opry for the first time. Continuing to expand her career and fanbase, the singer recently shared the stage with one of her youngest fans when performing “That’s Why We Fight.”
When traveling to Charleston, South Carolina for a performance, Langley decided to hold a little meet and greet with her fans. Giving them a chance to meet and speak with her, the singer eventually met a young girl who absolutely loved Langley and her music. After speaking for some time, the singer learned that the girl’s favorite song was “That’s Why We Fight.”
Ending the conversation, the little girl stuck in Langley’s mind. She explained to the crowd, “We were in the meet and greet and she asked me what’s my favorite song to do, and it really does change by the night. And randomly tonight, I said, ‘That’s Why We Fight.’ And she said, ‘Wait, that’s my favorite too.’ So I think it’s only right that we do the song together. What do you think?”
Fans Loved Watching Ella Langley Make Girl’s Dream Come True
Given the little fan the chance to perform on stage, the girl seemed shocked by the opportunity. And with the lights flashing and crowd roaring, it can be intimidating. But with Langley by her side, the fan quickly found her footing. And who knows, she might turn into a country singer herself.
With a video of the performance making its way online, fans couldn’t get enough of the girl and Langley making her dream come true. “The way her and band completely let this baby have her once in a lifetime moment,” the top comment on the video stated. “This is why we love Ella Langley. You are such an amazing country singer. You have made a young girl so happy. We all need Ella in our lives.” Another comment added, “Ma’am, You built a dream for that Young Lady. SALUTE! THAT IS WHY COUNTRY MUSIC IS THE GREATEST MUSIC. I Will forever be Part of CMN ( Country Music Nation). It’s Life, Liberty, & Pursuit of Happiness.”
Continuing to travel the country and release new music, Langley crossed off milestones on her way to becoming the next top female singer in country.
