The final question was over in 30 seconds… but fans are still arguing about it. What should have been the dramatic finish to The 1% Club instead turned into one of its most divisive endings after a deceptively simple puzzle left viewers completely split over the official answer. Some praised it as a brilliant piece of logic, while others insisted the final challenge was far too confusing to solve under pressure. Sometimes the biggest mystery isn’t finding the answer—it’s deciding whether there was ever a fair one.

When even host Drew Carey is shocked, you know you did well. A The Price Is Right contestant played a perfect game that resulted in them winning a car, and the host couldn’t stop expressing his shock.

Kay Gordon, from Venice Beach, California, won the second item up for bid on June 10. It was a Badger lawn care package that she bid $1,000 on.

The wedding planner then went on to play the Dice Game for a 2026 Corolla LE. Gordon was given the first number — a two. All she had to do was roll the dice, and whatever number it landed on, she had to pick whether the next number in the car was higher or lower than what was shown on the dice.

For her first roll, Gordon rolled a one. That was an automatic win because the number wasn’t a one, it had to be higher. The second number that was rolled was a two. The bell went off, signaling that it was the right number.

“Wow!” Drew Carey said as the crowd cheered. “You’re doing so well, Kay!”

For the next number, Gordon rolled a six, which meant once again, if the number wasn’t a six, it had to be lower, making her an automatic winner. However, the number was a six.

“One more to go! Good luck!” Carey said.

The game show contestant rolled a four for the final number. It was the correct number, making the car $24,264.

“Yes! You got it!” the host said as Gordon ran over to the car. “Boy, that played out well.”

The video was posted to Instagram on July 22, and fans commented on the perfect game. “Gir needs to go to Vegas. She is lucky with the dice,” one fan said.

“That’s wild,” another commented.

“Wow. I think I’ve only seen that happen once before when Bob was hosting. Congrats to Kay!!” a third added.

“Sweep! Clean game,” a fan said.

Gordon advanced to the Showcase after spinning an 80 on the wheel. She bid $31,555 on a skeeball arcade game, a five-night trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey, and a Kia K4.

The actual price was $33,496, which gave her a difference of $1,941. She won since her opponent was $5,000 over.
