TRISHA Goddard has revealed she has returned to hospital as she’s treated for painful symptoms of her cancer battle.
The TV star, 68, has secondary breast cancer, also referred to as metastatic or stage 4 breast cancer.
On Wednesday afternoon, she took to Instagram to share a montage of pictures of herself in hospital, updating fans that she was in getting steroid injections.
Trisha wrote: “Ho-hum….Another day – another procedure!
“This time…Steroid injections in da batty to banish aches and pains that b***h Cancer left me as a nice “I Wuz Here” when dem was zapped to hell by radiation treatment!”
Seeing the lighter side of things, Trisha jokingly continued: “One of the few massive needles I’m always really glad to see!
“‘Cos every time a nurse holds my hand and sweetly warns me that there’s going to be “A little prick”– Me tell them, No sweat! Pah! I’ve encountered some bigger pr**ks in my past…..
“And dem was all over dis Batty for waaay longer than 15 minutes, Babes….
“Until me came to my senses, got feisty as f*** and divorced the hell outta them!😆”.
Referencing her ex-husbands in the post, Trisha has been married four times, first to late Australian politician Robert Nestdale, then to TV producer Mark Grieve and later to psychotherapist Peter Gianfrancesco.
She remarried in 2022 to husband Allen, who largely stays out of the limelight.
Following Trisha’s update, fans and celeb friends took to the comment section to send her well wishes and love.
Trisha was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer in 2023, having first got the disease in 2008.
She is also living with Raynaud’s syndrome, a condition that restricts blood flow to the fingers and toes.
Raynaud’s can develop as a side effect of certain cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, and may cause skin colour changes along with sensations such as numbness or burning.
