The Voice advisor Carly Pearce has shown support for Brendan Coulter following his elimination from Season 30, leaving an encouraging comment on his latest Instagram post as fans continue to question Riley Green’s decision to send him home.
Coulter competed on Team Riley and faced Keiyana Osmond in a Battle featuring Maroon 5’s She Will Be Loved. Despite delivering a strong performance, the Ohio singer was eliminated after Green chose Osmond to advance. None of the other coaches used a steal to keep Coulter in the competition, leaving many viewers stunned by the result.

During the Battle, Coulter impressed with his powerful delivery, vocal control and falsetto. Pearce, who served as Green’s Battle advisor, praised both singers, while Adam Levine, who co-wrote and originally performed the song with Maroon 5, also offered feedback. Green ultimately favored Osmond’s distinctive style and stage presence.
The decision sparked strong reactions online, with many viewers insisting Coulter had delivered the stronger performance.
“Glad Im not the only person, who thought Brendan should’ve won,” one viewer wrote.
“He was so much better……..” another commented, while a third said, “what a shock. I thought it was a no brainer and Brendan Coulter won it hands down. I’m even shocked no one stole him.”
Others praised his vocal talent and questioned the coaches’ decision. “How on earth did they let that guy go. His voice is stellar,” one person asked.

“Brendan cruised to a victory here. First big decision for Riley choosing intangibles over actual execution,” another viewer wrote.
Amid the debate, Pearce made her support for Coulter clear by commenting on his latest Instagram post: “Your voice is so special!!! Can’t wait to see where it takes you ” Her message offered encouragement as the singer moves forward after his unexpected exit.
Coulter’s post revealed that his journey with The Voice began long before his televised audition. He explained that he first traveled to Los Angeles in the summer of 2023, made friends with contestants from Season 25 and grew as an artist. However, he never got the chance to audition because the teams had already filled up.
Several years later, he finally stepped onto the stage he had dreamed of performing on, describing the experience as “exhilarating, nerve-racking, fun, and so surreal.”
Although his elimination came earlier than he had hoped, Coulter expressed gratitude to the show and Green for giving him the opportunity. He also thanked Pearce for her guidance, Osmond for being an amazing Battle partner, and his wife, Anna Hertel, and family for supporting him throughout the experience.
“I think little me would be so proud,” he wrote, reflecting on how far he had come. He ended the post with a message that gave fans something to look forward to: “Stay tuned. Lots of music coming soon ”
Pearce’s comment has added to the wave of support Coulter has received since his elimination. Many viewers remain convinced that his journey on the show ended too soon.
“Brendan made his incredible talent look effortless!” one fan commented.

Another viewer wrote, “His voice blew me away,” while someone else declared, “Brendan gonna be a star just watch!”
Some fans also called for the show to give him another chance. “Bring him back ,” one person pleaded.
Not everyone disagreed with Green’s decision, however. Some viewers defended Osmond, highlighting her unique sound and ability to make the song her own. One commenter explained, “Keiyana’s voice is so distinctive. Brendan sang it beautifully with excellent runs but still pretty similarly to the original. Keiyana really made it her own.”
Still, the lack of a steal for Coulter remains a major point of frustration among viewers. While his time on Season 30 may be over, his promise of new music and Pearce’s encouraging words suggest that his musical journey is far from finished.
