Prince Harry has been making unexpected appearances on both sides of the Atlantic, and his latest movements have caught the attention of royal watchers. After being spotted in New York City, the Duke of Sussex made a surprise return to London for a major public engagement — just days before another international trip with Meghan Markle.
On November 4, Harry, 42, delivered a keynote speech at the 2026 Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards, held at the historic Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College in London. His appearance focused on responsible travel and the importance of protecting the world’s natural destinations.
Representing Travalyst, the environmental tourism initiative he founded in 2019, Harry spoke about the responsibility of the travel industry to protect the places that attract visitors from around the world.
“I founded Travalyst in 2019 because I believe that an industry built on extraordinary places of our world has both a responsibility and a business imperative to protect it,” he said.
He also opened his speech with a lighthearted remark after noticing the audience recording him on their phones, joking: “All I can see is phones.”
However, his London appearance was not the only recent development attracting attention.:max_bytes(150000):strip_icc():focal(749x0:751x2)/prince-harry-meghan-duchess-of-sussex-community-recording-studio-nottingham-101526-7-90586a231b214f2ebf40fdd2d55b2fb8.jpg)
Just two days earlier, on November 2, Harry was spotted at the luxurious Lotte New York Palace hotel in New York City. According to a spokesperson for the Duke, he had traveled to the city for several meetings focused on new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
“The Duke had a number of meetings in New York focused on new business opportunities and partnerships,” the spokesperson confirmed to PEOPLE, adding that further details would be shared in due course.
The quick succession of appearances has placed Harry back in the spotlight, particularly as he and Meghan prepare for another major international engagement.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are scheduled to travel to Brussels, Belgium, on November 10 for the latest unveiling of the Lost Screen Memorial.
The installation was created to honor children whose lives were lost due to the harmful effects of social media. It features 50 smartphone screens displaying lock-screen photographs of children, with the images provided by their families.
The memorial forms part of an ongoing effort by the Archewell Foundation’s Parents’ Network to raise awareness about children’s digital safety and the need for safer online spaces.
Harry and Meghan first unveiled the installation in New York City in April 2025, before Meghan brought it to Geneva, Switzerland, in May 2026.
During their upcoming visit to Brussels, the couple are also expected to deliver a keynote address focused on meaningful action to protect children online.
Harry will additionally participate in a panel discussion titled “Beyond Promises: Building a Digital Future That Works for Children.”
A Busy Period For The Sussexes
The latest appearances come after Harry and Meghan made their first joint public appearance in the UK on October 15, visiting several charities in Nottingham.
Since then, the couple have reportedly kept a relatively low profile, spending time with close family and friends during their children’s school break.
Now, with Harry’s New York meetings, his surprise London appearance and the couple’s upcoming Brussels engagement, the Sussexes are preparing for another busy period on the international stage.
And with further details about Harry’s New York business discussions still to come, royal watchers may be keeping a particularly close eye on what the Duke does next.
