Arriving on December 1, Trinity follows Commander Katherine Decker, played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, the second-in-command aboard the USS Kansas, a nuclear submarine. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she forms an unlikely connection with Secretary of Defense Webb Preston, portrayed by Richard Madden.

What initially appears to be an unusual professional relationship soon draws Katherine into a far more dangerous world. She becomes entangled in a series of secretive political manoeuvres surrounding a top-secret programme known by the codename Trinity.

The Mind Behind Line Of Duty And Bodyguard Returns

The series also marks another collaboration between Mercurio and Richard Madden. The pair previously worked together on the acclaimed 2018 political thriller Bodyguard, in which Madden starred alongside Keeley Hawes.
