Netflix’s biggest show of 2026 continues to climb, and its latest milestone puts it ahead of one of the streaming service’s most acclaimed limited series.

Netflix has delivered several major hits in 2026, with some already earning places among the platform’s most-watched shows of all time. Long-running favorites such as Wednesday and Stranger Things have dominated that list for years, while His & Hers, the limited thriller starring Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson, joined the rankings earlier this year.

Now, another 2026 thriller has moved even higher. Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You has overtaken The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix’s all-time most-popular TV list and is still adding to its total.

According to Netflix’s official Top 10 data, I Will Find You is now the eighth most-watched TV show in Netflix history, pushing The Queen’s Gambit into ninth place.

The Anya Taylor-Joy-led limited series arrived on Netflix in 2020 and quickly became one of the service’s most acclaimed productions. The Queen’s Gambit earned a 96% critics’ score and a 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, establishing itself as one of Netflix’s standout limited series.

I Will Find You has now reached 112.9 million views, narrowly passing The Queen’s Gambit, which finished with 112.8 million. That difference was enough to move the 2026 thriller ahead of the chess drama on Netflix’s all-time chart.

Netflix calculates views by dividing the total hours watched by a title’s runtime. That helps explain why the rankings do not simply reflect total hours streamed.

The Queen’s Gambit accumulated 746.6 million hours viewed, more than 100 million above I Will Find You’s 619 million. However, I Will Find You has a longer runtime at 6 hours and 37 minutes, compared with The Queen’s Gambit’s 5 hours and 29 minutes. As a result, its total views are higher despite having fewer hours watched.

The Netflix crime thriller premiered on June 18. Because Netflix’s all-time rankings measure performance over a 91-day period, its current total is not yet final.

The series’ tracking window closes on September 17, leaving exactly one full month for I Will Find You to add to its 112.9 million views.

Its next target is Bridgerton season 1, which currently sits just ahead with 113.3 million views. That means the gap between the two titles is relatively small, giving I Will Find You a clear opportunity to move even higher before its 91-day period ends.

Why I Will Find You Has Been Such a Big Netflix Hit

Several factors have contributed to the series’ strong performance.

One is the popularity of Harlan Coben adaptations on Netflix. His novels have repeatedly translated into major streaming successes, including Fool Me Once. That limited series previously appeared on Netflix’s all-time TV rankings and recorded 98 million views during its first 91 days on the service.

The cast has also helped draw viewers. I Will Find You features recognizable performers including Sam Worthington from Avatar, Britt Lower from Severance, and Milo Ventimiglia from This Is Us, alongside its wider ensemble.

The show’s format also suits Netflix’s viewing model. As a crime thriller contained within a single season, I Will Find You lends itself naturally to binge-watching, allowing viewers to move through the story in a relatively short period.

With its 91-day tracking window still open, I Will Find You has already passed The Queen’s Gambit and is within striking distance of Bridgerton season 1. Its final position on Netflix’s all-time list will depend on how many more viewers it attracts before September 17.
