Mikel Arteta‘s men are now hoping to defend their title as they aim to snap up Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes to boost their charge.

And they have now been given healthy odds of reclaiming the trophy in 2026-27.

A supercomputer by Compare.bet believes Arsenal have a 45 per cent chance of becoming champions once again.

That is seven per cent higher than any other club, with Man City predicted to be their closest challengers.

It’s claimed Arsenal will finish the 2026/27 season with 88 points – three more than they managed last term.

They’ve been predicted to pick up 27 wins, seven draws and just four defeats.

It’s set to help them just edge Man City to the title, with Enzo Maresca‘s new team forecasted to earn 85 points.

Those two sides will be the runaway challengers for the title, with new Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola predicted to come third in his first season at Anfield.

The Reds are backed to pick up 74 points, while Chelsea will come fourth and secure Champions League football under Xabi Alonso, the supercomputer predicts.

Both teams are set to lose eight times, but Liverpool are slated to win 22 games to Chelsea’s 20.

The Blues will finish on 67 points – 15 points than they managed last season – keeping them three points above Unai Emery‘s Aston Villa in fifth.

And Michael Carrick‘s first full campaign at Old Trafford isn’t predicted to go as planned as his Manchester United side are set to drop down to SIXTH.

The Red Devils finished third last season with 71 points, but the prediction sees them EIGHT points worse off.

Tottenham’s new look side under Roberto De Zerbi are backed to recover from back-to-back 17th placed finishes by coming eighth on 57 points, with Newcastle finishing above them.

The relegation places aren’t set to cause many surprises – with all three promoted sides expected to go straight back down.

Play-off winners Hull City will finish rock bottom on just 19 points.

Frank Lampard and Coventry City are set to put up a slightly bigger fight by coming 19th on 27 points, while Ipswich are slated to come 18th on 32.

Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland – who have Europa League football to play this season – are set to be plunged into the relegation battle this season.

And The Black Cats – are backed flirt with danger the most by finishing just three points off the drop zone, after dropping 19 points compared to last term.

The new Prem season will kick off on August 21, with Arsenal starting their defence at home to newly-promoted Coventry.
