‘I GAVE IT EVERYTHING I HAD!’ Strictly Star Lawrence Robb Fights Back Tears As He Breaks His Silence After Shock Dance-Off Exit Leaves Fans And Judges Stunned
Lawrence Robb struggled to hold back his emotions as he reflected on his Strictly Come Dancing journey, just days after his unexpected elimination brought his time on the BBC dance competition to an end.
The 34-year-old actor became visibly emotional during Tuesday night’s episode of It Takes Two, where he opened up about the friendships, unforgettable experiences and personal achievements that made his time on the show so special.
His departure alongside professional partner Jowita Przystał, also 34, came after a historic three-couple dance-off over Halloween Week. Despite not finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard, the pair ultimately received the verdict from all four judges and were sent home.

Lawrence Struggles To Hold Back Tears As He Pays Tribute To Jowita
Appearing on the Strictly spin-off show, Lawrence was visibly overcome as host Ellie Taylor, 42, asked him what had meant the most throughout his experience.
Noticing his emotional reaction, Ellie asked: “Lawrence, I can see you getting emotional now. What has meant the most to you?”
The actor immediately turned his attention to the person who had shared the entire experience with him.
“I think number one is meeting an incredible person, and this girl here,” he said, looking towards Jowita.
He went on to describe the sense of family, love and happiness that had surrounded him throughout the competition, praising the people he had met and the journey they had shared.
Jowita was visibly supportive as Lawrence struggled to contain his emotions, making the moment particularly touching.

‘You’ve Already Won’: Lawrence Shares His Biggest Strictly Lesson
Reflecting on just how far he had come, Lawrence admitted that the transformation from complete beginner to performing in front of millions had been an extraordinary experience.
“The idea of not knowing how to do any ballroom and Latin dancing at all, and then learning it in, what, three and a half days, and then performing it to millions of people is just… It’s wild,” he explained.
But the actor also had a message for everyone still competing, as well as those who had previously taken part in the programme.
He insisted that simply making it onto Strictly was already an achievement worth celebrating.
“And also, I think that this should apply to any of the couples still in it, and past couples as well… That doing Strictly is… Well, you’ve already won.”
He continued: “You’ve got the achievement of doing Strictly.
“You’ve been on Strictly, and then anything on top of that is, you know, icing cherry on top of the cake.”
His heartfelt words offered a glimpse into just how much the competition had meant to him, beyond the scores, performances and weekly eliminations.

Historic Three-Couple Dance-Off Ends Lawrence And Jowita’s Journey
Lawrence and Jowita’s exit followed an unprecedented moment in the competition, with the pair becoming part of Strictly’s first-ever three-couple dance-off.
During Halloween Week, the remaining celebrities took to the ballroom for a series of spooky performances.
Lawrence and Jowita tackled the tango to Ray Parker Jr.’s iconic Ghostbusters theme, hoping to secure their place in the next round.
However, their performance failed to win over enough viewers, leaving them fighting for survival alongside Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu, and Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu.
In the end, the judges unanimously chose to save the other couples, bringing Lawrence and Jowita’s Strictly adventure to an abrupt end.
Their elimination was particularly notable given that they had not finished at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Strictly Competition Continues With Ten Couples Remaining
Although Lawrence and Jowita’s departure marks the end of their journey, the competition is far from over.
The remaining ten couples will return to the ballroom when Strictly Come Dancing airs again on Saturday at 6:30pm, with the pressure mounting as the celebrities battle to stay in the competition.
For Lawrence, however, the experience has already given him something he believes is worth far more than a place in the final: an unforgettable journey, a new friendship and the achievement of proving just how much he could accomplish in a matter of weeks.
