Ana Navarro Mocks Joy Behar’s Outfit From Home as The View Host Fires Back Live on Air

Joy Behar found herself being teased about her wardrobe on The View after absent cohost Ana Navarro sent her an unexpected text message during a commercial break.
Navarro, who wasn’t appearing on the show that day, apparently couldn’t resist commenting on Behar’s bright red, high-waisted trousers.
Her comparison to a famous television character left the studio audience laughing, while Behar responded by deliberately making her outfit look even more exaggerated.
Ana Navarro Sends Joy Behar a Brutal Fashion Critique
During Thursday’s broadcast, Behar interrupted the discussion to share a message she had received from Navarro.
“I wanted to just tell everybody I got a text from Ana Navarro,” Behar announced, explaining that the message had arrived during the commercial break.
Navarro had apparently been watching from home and decided that Behar’s trousers needed adjusting.

“Pull your pants down. They’re riding all the way up to your boobs,” Navarro wrote, according to Behar.
She followed the observation with an even more memorable comparison.
“You look like Urkel.”
Navarro was referring to Steve Urkel, the beloved but famously awkward character played by Jaleel White in the 1990s sitcom Family Matters.
Urkel’s signature appearance included oversized glasses, suspenders and trousers pulled unusually high above his waist.
The comparison immediately turned Behar’s outfit into the centre of attention.
Joy Behar Fires Back With a Hilarious On-Air Response

Rather than appearing embarrassed, the 81-year-old host embraced the joke.
Behar stood up from her seat to show off her red trousers, then deliberately pulled them even higher.
“How’s this, Ana?” she asked while looking toward the camera.
“Like this better, Ana?”
Her exaggerated response sent the studio audience into laughter.
Behar, who had paired the trousers with a black sweater, gold hoop earrings and a smartwatch, appeared thoroughly amused by Navarro’s unsolicited fashion advice.
“The girl is trolling me, okay?” she declared.
She then delivered a playful warning to her absent colleague.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Ana,” Behar said, pointing directly at the camera.
The other panellists joined in the laughter, agreeing that Navarro was teasing Behar from afar.
Sara Haines, however, gave Navarro some credit for making her criticism directly rather than hiding behind an anonymous comment.
Behar’s Wardrobe Has Sparked Laughter Before

The incident wasn’t the first time Behar’s clothing had become an unexpected talking point on The View.
During an earlier Valentine’s Day episode, she experienced an awkward wardrobe malfunction involving her bra.
Whoopi Goldberg brought the incident to viewers’ attention after the programme returned from a commercial break.
“The biggest surprise happened to us seconds ago when Joy’s bra started making all kinds of eyes at people at the table,” Goldberg joked.
She compared the unexpected moment to an earthquake before pretending the bra had suddenly announced its presence.
Fortunately, Behar managed to adjust her outfit before the situation became more embarrassing.
On another occasion, her fellow panellists teased her for resembling Beetlejuice after she appeared in a black-and-white striped blazer.
Those moments have become part of the show’s playful dynamic, with the cohosts frequently making jokes about one another’s fashion choices.
Navarro’s Absence Doesn’t Stop the On-Air Banter

Although Navarro wasn’t physically present, her message ensured she still played a memorable role in the broadcast.
The exchange highlighted the easygoing relationship between the two television personalities, who regularly trade sarcastic remarks during the show’s lighter segments.
Behar’s willingness to exaggerate the joke rather than defend her outfit made the moment particularly entertaining.
And by addressing Navarro directly through the camera, she turned a private text into a public exchange that delighted the audience.

Navarro may have intended to give Behar a quick wardrobe correction, but the host’s hilarious response transformed the criticism into one of the show’s most amusing moments.
